"You're crazy," Harry announced, picking up a treacle tart.

He ate steadily through a plate of food, pointedly ignoring Ginny. If she wanted Draco, fine! Gross... He found himself amused despite his best intentions.

"Crazy I may be, but I think you like me." Ginny finished her pudding and looked at Harry. "Ok, I'm serious now. Yesterday I got two owls, one from Malfoy, one a school owl." she paused seeing the expression on Harry's face, "Malfoy sent me a disgusting potion that turned my hands a terrible green color and warts sprouted, which was quite random." she glanced around, "The other one was this love poem. I have no idea who sent it. You have the slightest idea? Seen anyone writing letters yesterday?"

"It was probably Dean," Harry heard himself say automatically. He didn't really think that was the case. Dean had been more than open about his feelings for Ginny. The sender of the letter, he knew, wanted to keep his feelings anonymous. He glanced almost instinctively down to his backpack where his book on poetry was stashed,

Ginny looked at Harry suspiciously, "Did one of your friends write it?" she smirked. "Oh, ok. Keep it a secret then....pleease tell me, please?" Ginny gave him a said look before shoving more chicken into her mouth. She swallowed, then gave a girl walking by her a thumbs up. "Hannah." she told Harry.

Donnan rolled his eyes. It wasn't like he didn't know Hannah. Maybe not as well as Ginny did, but he knew who she was, in any case. Ginny was just trying to show how well liked she was. As if he didn't already know. He wasn't thinking about Hannah now, though. His eyes were focused on Dean and Seamus, heads together. Every now and then Dean would look up at Ginny longingly. Harry's eyes spouted fire.

And then, very suddenly, he felt rather queasy. He stood, hefting his bag out from under his chair, and gave Ginny an odd look. "I... uh... I have to go. Take care of something..."

Ginny looked at him curiously, then at his bag. "What's in there? Your acting like it's a dragon." Ginny laughed, then said sarcasticly, "Ok. I'll be here. Alone. Because I'm so unliked."

Harry forced himself to snort, though it was a halfhearted attempt at best. "If you're really lonely, I'm sure Dean and Seamus would let you join them."

Ginny shoved Harry away, as she invited Lavender and Pravati over to her. Lavender questioned her about Ron.... and Ginny simply couldn't wait for the feast to be over.
